MOSAIC JAZZ COLLECTIVE (Sydney)

Mosaic is a vibrant 10-piece contemporary Jazz ensemble rapidly emerging as a youthful powerhouse in the Sydney Jazz scene!
Mosaic focus on performing and premiering all new bespoke compositions written for the band by Australian composers under 25, culminating in a uniquely youthful and energetic sound. The band has held a year-long residency at Sydney's premier jazz venue Foundry616, as well as played prestigious jazz festivals across NSW including the Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Festival, the Manly Jazz festival, and the Wangaratta Jazz Festival. They will be launching their debut record WHERE WE ARE NOW - which debuted at #2 on the ARIA Jazz & Blues charts and #5 on the AIR Independent Albums charts.

Members of the band include Wauchope’s very own Lachie Eggert and Port Macquarie’s Braden Clarke, as well as Lee Orszaczky, Sarah Morrisson, Chiara Minotto, Matt Simmonds, Damon Poppleton, Aidan Wong, James Watt and Ravi Trachtenberg Ray.
